#icebucketchallenge

I'm sure all of you have heard of the #icebucketchallenge, where hundreds and probably thousands of people have poured buckets of ice water over themselves to fundraise for ALS research (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).

For those who don't know exactly what the point of this challenge because there seems to be different versions everywhere, here's the gist of it (I think).

Basically, once you've been challenged by someone to participate, you have a 24 hour time block to do it, and nominate another three people, or donate an unspecified amount of money to the foundation.

Or you could be a nice person and do both.

The reason for the ice bucket challenge is to mimic the disease, in which the cold numbs your body and there is a short period of time where you feel like you lack muscle control. Which is what victims of this fall prey to.

Now, the #icebucketchallenge has reached into the kpop world, with people like Super Junior's Siwon, f(x) Amber and Eric Nam having done so.

 Super Junior's Heechul has hopped on the bandwagon, posting his take onto his Instagram account. Although I don't think he really understood the challenge.
