Running Man Style: Episode 266

Hello, welcome. This post is about episode 266 of the Korean variety show airing on SBS, Running Man. The episodes features the guests: Super Junior's Eunhyuk, Im Joo Hwan and Hong Jin Young as they are separated in groups to compete in a rest stop food race. Watch it here. A headline that comes from the episode is when Ji Suk Ji mistakes Eunhyuk for Leeteuk.

So if you have been watching the variety show Running Man you maybe have been noticed at the intro that Gary have been wearing snapbacks with the print Halyang. Halyang is a brand that Gary himself have been launching for his fans and other people that appreciate the print. Halyang is a meaning that Gary got from a fortune teller which means "Halyang is the traveling noble men from the olden days, that is to say even without working, one is able to enjoy life".

On the latest Running Man episode 255, we have the giraffe Lee Kwang Soo wearing a shirt for the blind date with the print "VOTE FOR MM" from the Korean brand 87MM S/S 15 collection.  The shirt is a short sleeve which also can be bought in denim color. Buy here.

I think this shirt is perfect for the summer look, together with the white fedora its makes the outfit outstanding and good-looking.

Cute Cap on Running Man

On Running Man episode 231, three members wore the same whimsical Tokidoki cap. Yoo Jaesuk, Kim Jongkook (not pictured, unfortunately missing out on dancing to EXID's "Up & Down"), and Haha all wore the Bandit Snapback, which is from the TKDK x New Era 9FIFTY snapback collection. The bill has cute images (what Tokidoki is known for). You may buy your own here.   On another note, EXID is getting so popular with their hit single "Up & Down", good for them! I remember last fall they got a lot of flack for being a nugu group. "Up & Down" could be their ticket to popularity (like Girls' Generation's "Gee").

Suzy on Running Man, again.

I love it whenever Miss A's Suzy goes onto Running Man. It seems like she's been on the programme so often that she's right at home when she's filming. On their 208th episode, Suzy guested again and while there she sported the Ribbon Halter Dress from Renibon.

Running Man Style: Episode 181

It's been a while since the last Running Man style post when IU guested back in November of 2013. Currently the show is on episode 182 featuring Dohee, Siwan and Yeo Jin Goo. However, this post will be about the finding the secret couple or boys vs. girls episode with guests Lee Jong Suk, Park Bo Young and Lee Se Young, episode 181.

With Red Shoes, Pretty Man, and variety show appearances, girl is busy. This is certain proof that IU did not fall from grace after the Twitter scandal.

Haven't done any "Running Man Styles" in a while huh? I watched most episodes but nothing was very interesting. For me, IU and Park Myung Soo's Running Man episode was so much fun, especially the cage match. A definite watch!

IU's sweater is perfect for Remembrance Day. Need a poppy? Nope, I have some thread on thread on thread. Just need one more to cover the obvious logo.

Anyone recognize the logo? It is Fred Perry's. From afar they may look like poppies, but actually are roses?! The Rose Embroidered Sweater is available here for 85 Pounds.

That is all. Oh actually, one thing... The model looks like a child but isn't. At first, I thought IU was wearing a kid's sweater in the picture above. That would've proved her weight loss successful. My mind changed when I realized asos doesn't stock children's clothing.

The girls of 2NE1 came back on the variety scene in the week's  Running Man, Episode 156,. In their introduction, they sported a very popular brand. I'm sure you can guess it: It's ...*drum roll*... Adidas .

Running Man Style: Ghost Sisters

In the latest episode (number 155) of Running Man, it features the story of two ghost sisters - Song Ji Hyo and Suzy. They and the rest of the cast kept their style in pink.

You can probably guess what happens when Miss A's Suzy goes on Running Man. If you didn't know she has guested about three times since last year.

Commentary: Hot Pants (+tiny things)

You all probably knew this post was coming. What is Kpop fashion without hot pants? For those of you that don't know, hot pants are "shorts that cannot possibly get any shorter" (Urban Dictionary). In Kpop, sexiness is key, and more often than not, entertainment companies show 'sexy' through skin. In their minds, the amount of sexiness one has is directly proportionate to the amount of skin netizens can fawn over. 

2pm figurines are fit

This expectation of is ridiculous, and far from gender equal. Now, I am not saying that boy groups don't face the same standard; they do. Action figures of 2PM were released in February, and they feature semi-clad versions of the boys (Soompi). Now, I don't really understand why figurines need six-packs, but it goes along with the skin = sexy notion.

More often than not, guys constantly ripping off their shirts does not get as much negative feedback as girls in short shorts or mini-skirts. This is a double-standard and straight-up slut-shaming. I, personally, have no issues with any way someone dresses. The issue I have is that many idols would not choose these costumes for themselves.

Big Bang GD &Taeyang: GD's World Tour

Both GD and Taeyang were spotted wearing Bratson during GD's concert in Shanghai. Afterward, GD and Taeyang posted some pictures to Instagram of them with the jackets on. The twist? They were riding motorbikes. How fitting for their clothing.

Running Man Style: Ep 147

Hello welcome to another Running Man Style post. This one is about episode 147, the Flower Boy Athletic Competition episode that featured the usual gang, Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Hyun Woo. This one made me laugh quite a bit, first in a while. Why? Because of the pressure mat race, so funny but painful. You can watch it here with subs. Oh, there was also a Monday Couple moment.

Running Man Style: Traitors Club

In the recent episode of Running Man, episode 146, it was Traitors Club vs Running Man. On the 'Traitors Club' side we had the usual suspects, Haha, Lee Gwang So and Ji Suk Jin. I won't spoil much but the ending fits the theme.
