Each store has a different name for this design so I made up the term in the title but once you see the following images you'll know what I'm talking about. Square print shirts have been around for a bit but around last season and this season is when it became popular (To the nerds out there, yes some of the prints are technically rectangles). If you ask me, it's not a bad trend since it can be printed on anything. It really depends on the content of the square, like what it says or what it has an image of. Most importantly, it depends on how it fits with the rest of the outfit. This trend is on the print/graphics side, which some people don't consider as fashion.

For the past few months (and years), K-pop idols have been increasingly wearing
harnesses for performances. They come in so many styles that when all
members in a group wear them, they look coordinated without being
dressed exactly the same. The first major appearances have been spotted in 2012 and spiked in popularity in 2013 and is still continuing this year. Here are some more Kpop idols wearing them:

Plaid, plaid, plaid it's everywhere!
Let's not get technical. Typically people just associate the crisscrossing of thick lines to be plaid. Actually this type of pattern can be the following: plaid, tartan, gingham, checkered, check or madras. There are even more terms, but an everyday person's typical view of plaid is all of these things in a grouping (sometimes without gingham). Stylists may be different, but for a simpler sake, we'll just assume everything here is plaid.
Let's say it all started with f(x)'s Rum Pum Pum Pum comeback in late summer. After that, pushBUTTON and Steve J and Yoni P's Fall/Winter 2013 collection blew up with their plaid patterns. Now, it's the go to pattern for idol groups for customized individuality during performances.

Kpop stars are famous fashionistas. They pick up on trends and take them to the next level. The stripes trend is no different. Groups coordinated different colors, sizes, and orientation of stripes, and they became a staple in 2013 Kpop fashion.
Let's take a look.

Previously, posted on the dominate trend of florals during the first half of 2013.
Here's a more niche trend that many idols embraced for their comebacks.
You can probably tell by the title that this trend is 'hand-painted jackets'.
These jackets don't necessarily need to be painted upon. Some just give off that often 'hard leather' feel. They also give individuality to the wearer or association to their concept, group or song. The association of hand-painted jackets goes to leather or biker jackets. However, it is proven other types of jackets can work, such as denim jacket or vests, blazers, hoodies, bombers and even if willing to...le smoking jacket.
Without any more words, here's pictures of your favourites.

Circle lenses have been popular in Asia for a long time, but more and more lenses come in different colors rather than just enlarged irises. So let's take a look at the variety of colored lenses idols (girls & guys) wear. Almost every "odd" comeback this year has had someone with colored lenses in (e.g. 'I Got a Boy', 'Jeon Won Diary', 'Rum Pum Pum Pum', 'Baddest Female', 'What's Your Name', 'Breakdown', etc.)
These are not every circle lens sighting, but they cover many major groups.
