The Style Icon Awards  2013 by Mnet has happened. It's an awards show I actually care about since its relating to style. This is a hot or not/best dressed and worst dressed list from me. It is solely my opinion and do not reflect the opinions of everyone at K-world Style. I have one of these previously did for Mnet's 20's Choice. This also includes my commentary, because…hey why not use two tags with one post?

Good Doctor Style: Episode 17

How's everyone enjoying Good Doctor?

For those who hasn't watched the latest episode (17) of Good Doctor, don't worry, I won't spoil anything. After episode 17, there will be episode 18 with that awesome moment *_*. 

This post features some clothes Moon Chae Yeon's character, Cha Yoon Seo, and Kim Min Seo's character, Yoo Chae Kyung wear. Most of the pieces are quite pricey, but you can find similar styles easily.

Hot or Not: 2013 20's Choice Blue Carpet Edition

 Special feature! Your favourites are dispersed throughout this rating in K-world Style's version of 'Best Dressed' and 'Worse Dressed' from Mnet's 20's Choice Awards blue carpet. We call this 'Hot or Not' for continuation purposes. Also this includes my commentary and feelings about their choices.

Note: This is purely my sole opinion, others may agree with me while some may disagree with me. It does not reflect every writer's thoughts here at K-world Style. I categorized this not by if they look good or not but also by their choices. Some may look incredible but their styling is dull.

Get the Look: Kdrama Inspiration from the Past

There are many popular Korean dramas that are set in the way past (e.g. 'Faith', 'Arang and the Magistrate', 'The Great Seer', 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal', etc.). I really enjoy seeing this historical fashion while watching these shows. Instead of forcing you all to read about the history of Korean fashion, I decided it would be nice to draw inspiration from these in a Get the Look.

 Krystal vs Taemin

Recently, Etude House released more images of Krystal for their brand. She was styled with a bouncy, pastel pink shirt with the H&M pants. 

On Taemin: he wore a Joyrich tee, a blue Walter van Beirendonck blazer and a floral cap.

My verdict: Krystal. I like it simple. Taemin's styling has so many patterns and colours, much like SHINee's whole concept. I'm not into that.

That Special Girl

This is the last post from Infinite H's MV for "Special Girl". 

I'm pretty sure many girls are super envious of the girl in the MV ~ I mean...She gets to hang out with BOTH Hoya AND Dongwoo! So many jealous Inspirites out there, I know it hehe. :P  

Anyway! It's been ages since I've posted something from this brand! This was more or less the first thing I spotted, when I first saw the teaser for the MV! :D

The actress (I don't remember her name) in Infinite H's MV was wearing shoes from Alexander McQueen - One of my personal favourite brands EVER! :D

These shoes are called Faith Peeptoe Boots and is one of the signature shoes from McQueen. I'd love to own a pair ~

At first I thought "I should post the finds from the main actors" but then I said ladies first...Right? 
Minho can wait ~ He's a gentleman. ^_^

Young actress Kim Ji Won plays the role of Seol Han Na the Nation's Fairy.
She is a Olympic gymnast who is in love with Kang Tae Joon.

She looks so adorable with those headbands.
I haven't heard of Kim Ji Won before, but I hope we hear more of her from now on ^_^.

I've decided! Sonovi is my favorite bag brand!
Their handbags are so cute, but sadly also quite expensive...

pretty embroideries ~

I really adore this dress ~ it's super pretty! But eh...it reminds me A LOT of one of my favorite brands' A/W 2012 collection. To be more exact it reminds me of Balmain's A/W 2012 collection, which had a lot of embroideries in flowery patterns going on. This resulted in me thinking "Where is this dress from?!" when I first saw it, because I knew it wasn't Balmain!

Well, now I've found it!! Yay, finally-ish xD

Also; this is THE MOST OVER-WORN DRESS OF THE YEAR! o__o I am not kidding you! Even though I love it, so many idols wore it that it became kinda boring >__<" You'll get what I mean after finishing this post ~ hehe.

My first spotting of it: 

While traveling back and forth between Korea and USA in order to promote, Wonder Girls uploads a lot of pictures to all their official sites. At one event, Hyelim was spotted wearing an adorable baby blue-ish dress with cute flower patterns and embroideries. Lol at troll Yoobin in the background of Hyelim xD 

Sistar's Bora wore it on a recent episode of 'Quiz to Change the World'.

Flower Monster Ramyun Shop?!

I'll be honest; I'm only posting this because it was requested :)

This brand is WIDELY used in all aspects of K-pop and on the brand's homepage they make a very big thing out of saying "This product was worn by XX in YY!" :P You'll see what I mean when you go to the buy  link added in the end of this post ~

A request was made on a hoodie worn by actress Lee Chungah when she played her role as Yang Eunbi  (originally got it mixed up hahaha) in the K-drama "Flower Boy Ramyun Shop" which explains the funny title ~ you get it? hehe. 

Her hoodie carried all the typical, characteristic features of Korean brand Elstinko, which it, of course, also is from :)

You can get this funny/cute/whatever you'd prefer to call it hoodie here, once it's back in stock. In case they don't restock, the black version is here, although also temporarily out of stock.

Glasses That Pull at Your Heartstrings

In episode 11 (part 5/6 to be precise) of Heartstrings/ You've Fallen for Me, Lee Gyu Won--played by actress Park Shin Hye--wore Jeremy Scott x Linda Farrow TV Specs. I swear these glasses are haunting me; I see them everywhere!
