Kpop Fashion Trend: Harnesses

For the past few months (and years), K-pop idols have been increasingly wearing harnesses for performances. They come in so many styles that when all members in a group wear them, they look coordinated without being dressed exactly the same. The first major appearances have been spotted in 2012 and spiked in popularity in 2013 and is still continuing this year. Here are some more Kpop idols wearing them:

At the 20th Korea Entertainment Art Awards, f(x) won the Group Singer Award.

Luna at 140124 Lovcat Fansign

On 140124, the girls of f(x), well at least three of them (Luna, Krystal and Amber) attended a fansign hosted by Lovcat. The girls became the faces of the brand in 2013 and produced many beautiful advertisements for them like this one. 

We previously posted the jacket Krystal wore to the event. This time, Luna's soft pink dress. They embellished the neckline with a jewel and styled the outfit in the same pink palette. 

The bag above is obviously Lovcat and the jewels are obviously Lovcat Bijoux. The dress is also a Korean brand, Nice Claup. There is no name but you can try buying it here for 107,100 Won.

Who Wore it Better? Roundup 17 (4minute edition)

Hi guys

So here we are again with a 'Who wore it Better?' round up - the 4minute edition. 

Ok so the 1st battle is between Sohyun and actress Jun Ji Hyun, who plays the role of Cheon Song Yi in the popular drama 'You who Came from the Stars'.

Honestly ,I'm not a big drama fan but I heard this drama was good and I watched it...and I really liked it.

It doesn't have the typical drama plot and it's really funny also.

But enough with the chit chat because we are here for the clothes, right?

It's interesting that in first 3 battles Sohyun, Gayoon and Jihyun's outfits are from the same event, Seoul Music Awards.

In the third battle we have Jihyun against Krsytal.

Krystal at 140124 Lovcat Fansign

One month after Christmas Eve 3/5 girls of f(x) spent the day with fans at the 140124 Lovcat fansign. It was a great way to see their casual and personal fashion. However, only Krystal, Luna and Amber attended as Victoria and Sulli probably had acting activities.  Obviously, they carried Lovcat bags and wore Lovcat Bijoux jewelry but what else? 

On Krystal wears a blazer from 3.1 Phillip Lim, from their S/S 2014 collection. It is listed as the Tromple L'oeil Collar Tuxedo Jacket. It has a polka dot design and four over-laying button on the cuffs. Since it's so new it is at $655 here, wait a few months for it to go on sale.

4minute at Seoul Music Awards

4minute was also present at the Seoul Music Awards 2014 where they took home a Bonsang Award for the success in 2013. It was the same awards Girls' Generation won too.

Let's see what the girls wore.

First, Gayoon wore the Cotton Viscose Tweed Jacket from Balmain.

Hey guys :D So I finally watched MBC's Gayo Daejaejun. Don't know why it took me so long to watch it because it was awesome. Today we have finds from f(x)'s 'Rum pum pum pum' perfomance. All of their outfits were from Steve J and Yoni P's S/S 2014 collection

Victoria at 28th Golden Disk Award

It seems that not all of the f(x) members wore affordable clothes, since Victoria was dressed from head to toe in a Korean designer, NOHKE J.

I for one think that her outfit was gorgeous. I especially like the asymmetrical skirt which enhances Victoria's beautiful legs

Sulli's Fashion King Promo Pic

A while back f(x)'s Sulli was casted for the movie Fashion King. Just recently, they started to release promotional images for advertisement and hype. One of the first images to come out was of Sulli to Top Star News in her character.

The movie is to be out in the summer of 2014 and also stars Joo Won. The movie has nothing to due with SBS' Fashion King.

Anyway, enough information…now about the fashion. Not much to see, doesn't really give much of a clue to the possible style in the movie. Oh well…

Krystal's 140103 Airport Fashion

How is everyone spending the 2014 year so far? 

One of our favourite K-pop fashion muses, f(x)'s Krystal spent some time during 140103 at the Heathrow Airport in London, England. Who knows what she did? Well, I have no clue. She did arrive looking very stylish and that's all I care about for now. 

Two items, first item is a coat by Rebecca Minkoff. It is the Jude Houndstooth Coat which retails for 798$. If I remember correctly Yoon Eun Hye's character in Marry Him If You Dare has worn the exact same coat. Going down, it's a skort (shorts and skirt) by Zara. The online fashion community is very keen to call these "Zara culottes".  You can buy the red version here for $19.99.

Hey guys, sorry I've been away for a couple of days.

I always spend Christmas at my grandmother's house so I had to pack and move :D

Today I'll post some recent finds that I haven't had the chance to post.

The first find is Victoria's outfit that she wore at Chopard Happy Sport 20TH Anniversary Party.

She wore a gorgeous outfir from Calvin Klein F/W 2013 collection.

Victoria in Hong Kong

On 131128, f(x) leader Victoria attended a Suecomma Bonnie event in Hong Kong.

And though she kept the colours safe, dressed in black and white, she played around with the textures of the items, making her look more interesting.

She has on from DKNY their menswear inspired Two-toned crepe blazer, their Logo print cropped mesh T-shirt and the Panelled lace and silk-blend chiffon maxi skirt.

She completed the look with the Cassandre Clutch from Saint Laurent.

Who Wore it Better? Roundup 13

Another roundup, so many right? It's not that idols share clothing but different idols are sponsored the same clothing. That's why there are so many who wore it betters.

Double the Love: Suzy and Luna

Here's a pairing you don't see a lot of, Suzy and Luna. Even though they are not interacting in this post, it's strange. Hopefully, they'll have more encounters in the future because they are both great.

First up, Suzy. This is a selca on her Twitter account around the time students' college entrance exams. 

The picture is blurry but Eliza did make out the brand of the skirt. It is Moschino's F/W 2013 collection. This is the Heart Heavy Virgin Wool Tartan Skirt. It looks cheap but is actually over 1100$.

More f(x), more love!

On 131122, as part of their Lovcat duties, 4/5 (Amber, Luna, Sulli and Victoria) of f(x) had a fansign. Krystal was not present most likely due to Heirs.

Fansigns are a great way to view some more personal choices kpop stars may have on their outfit choices. However, they are still done by stylists since they are public appearances. Oh well, at least we have airport fashion but then again most of the time they are sponsored in some way. All that's left are selcas and paparazzi photos. :(

This flawfree goddess is wearing an AllSaints jacket, the same style in black as another flawfree goddess Song Ji Hyo has worn. This Pitch Leather Biker Jacket is available here. SM has released f(x)'s 2014 calender. Did anyone buy it yet? :D

A Necklace Luna Wore

Congratulations to f(x) on their win of MBC Music Star Award at the Melon Music Awards 2013. Luna was there as a representative of f(x) and accepted the award. Her necklace was perfect for the occasion.

At first I thought the necklace was by Forever 21 or Topshop. That was wrong.

This was from the Korean brand Monday Edition. Named the  M.E "me" bold chain necklace (X).

On Luna, the bigger chain's was reversed with the clip in front; that created a V-shape opposed to the usual oval shape. 

Get it? "me" = M.E = Monday Edition.
