Hi, I'm new on this amazing site. So here's my 1st find! When I watched SNSD's Party I squealed when I saw Seohyun wearing that dress as it comes from my favourite online designer. Being a massive Sone, the song is definitely growing on me ^_^

Seohyun is wearing the Desert Nights Maxi Dress from For Love and Lemons

I received a tip from one of our old writers, Eliza!! If you read K-world Style anytime from late 2012 to early 2015, you might remember her brilliant finds. She is one of the best IDers I know. Just letting those who remember her know that she's doing well!

At SNSD's 150721 press conference for their reality show Channel SNSD, Seohyun is wearing the RASPOUTIN Crepe puffball dress from Maje. We think it's a beautiful dress :) Buylink here.

Reader Eva tipped us regarding a sleeveless crop top with fringe detail that Girls' Generation's Taeyeon wore throughout her group's "Party" MV and comeback concept images.
Girls' Generation's "Party" MV finds continued! This post also looks at the K-pop style where the members are dancing in lounge/bar/club.

Sooyoung is wearing the 'Love Will Win' Sequin Cotton Tee from Ashish's A/W 2014 collection, which is sold out.

More K-pop fashion finds from Girls' Generation's "Party" MV! This post is focusing on the lounge/bar/club scene.

Hi everyone!
Been long since I posted, and I figured since I did a Get the Look: SNSD's 'Catch Me If You Can', I should do one for SNSD's new hit, 'Party'. Unlike CMIYC, 'Party' portrays different members with their different style of clothing, so I can't generalise their whole concept into a single outfit; rather, I've picked a couple of pieces that are similar to what SNSD wore in this teaser image below.

Summer is here for everyone to enjoy, and while unlucky people like me living in Australia, we have to survive the cold, barren winter. Brr. But for all y'all lucky people, 'tis the great time to be partying outside in the beach, and what more than to take out all your beach gears and have fun with all your mates!

This style is really easy, and as long as you have a simple white lace/crochet top, pair it with a pair of denim shorts, you're good to go! Or you can pick out your favourite white bikini, or you can choose to stay protected from the sun (remember your sunscreen lotion!) with a pretty white lacy dress. Lace/crochet is great to wear as it's relatively light-weight and flowy, so it won't get you perspiring under the sweltering sun.

Nonetheless, whatever your selection is, I've got it covered for you!
Without further ado, here are some of my finds!
(Since this is a 'get the look', I have labeled each find with the SNSD member that inspired me. Apologies as I do not have a find for every member!)

1. Embroidered Fringe Crop Top - $22.90 - Forever 21
2. Crochet-Trimmed Cami - $14.90 - Forever 21
3. Cropped Lace Cami - $9.90 - Forever 21
4. Halter Bralet In Hand Crochet - $55.34 - ASOS
5. Monki Crochet Lace Skater Dress - $59.30 - ASOS
6. Boxy Embroidered-Crochet Top - $24.90 - Forever 21
7. Only Distressed Jean Button Up Denim Shorts$52.00 $20.50 (Sale) - ASOS
8. Distressed High-Waist Cutoffs - $24.90 - Forever 21

(They also come in different colours!)

If you aren't a fan of lace/crochet patterns, no worries! Just wear your favourite white top and a pair of denim shorts, and maybe bump up your style by accessorising!

Stacking up 'em 'arm candies' (bracelet/wristlets) and layering necklaces can give you a fun look too.

If you are lazy (like me) to find different bracelets to stack, just buy a set of bracelets instead! And if you don't like the feeling of multiple necklaces around your neck (it does get chunky and heavy and possibly suffocating after a while), take my advice and get a tiered necklace, not only does it look good, it lessens the load :)

1. Layered Faux Stone Charm Necklace - $6.90 - Forever 21
2. Faux Stone Bracelet Set - $4.90 - Forever 21
3. Charm Bracelet Set - $4.90 - Forever 21
4. Mini-Floral Head Crown - $4.90 - Forever 21

Whether you are a SONE or not, anyone who keeps up with K-pop knows that Girls' Generation made a comeback this summer. Here are my finds from their "Party" MV so far.

This post is dedicated to the outdoor pool scene.

Sooyoung is wearing the LILY - STRAWBERRY KISS (Bandeau Neoprene bikini in Neon Coral, Candy Pink + Orange) from a bikini brand called Triangl. Buy here.

A Girls' Generation "who wore it better" between Taeyeon and Hyoyeon!

They are both wearing a metallic sequined crop top from Fay.

A wide leg pant showdown between SISTAR's Bora and former SNSD member Jessica! Lately in the K-pop fashion scene, wide leg pants are becoming more common. In this "who wore it better", Bora is wearing a fitted black crop top and bedazzled black sandals to go with her wide leg pants in Cosmopolitan Magazine whereas Jessica went bare on top in Beauty+ Magazine.

Since the past summer of 2014, I noticed a K-pop fashion trend where female performers are wearing crop tops that have text or designs on the waistbands.  Check out some of the examples below:
Hi everyone!

GG is finally back with 'Catch Me If You Can' and boy am I impressed by their dance moves! Very different to their previous songs such as Mr. Mr. where they showcased classy and sophisticated sexy, this song blows your mind with their slightly rough, slightly grimy (in a very, very good way), tough but still sexy aura and overall topping it off with grunge-ish outfits.

Digressing a bit, before I became a KWS writer I often peruse the articles of fashion finds and realised most of the finds are really expensive (think designer brands), and as a reader and avid K-fashion person I find myself wanting to imitate or get inspirations from my favourite K-pop idol (who doesn't want to look like GD, really)

But of course me and expensive don't necessarily go together, and I doubt it will for many out there. So that's when 'Get the Look' comes into play! And who doesn't love cheap but great quality clothing?

Pic Cr: modernseoul.org

This simple outfit consists of:
Black bandeau/black cropped tank
White cropped top - cut off at certain parts, smeared with a bit of grime and dirt and looking thoroughly distressed(?)
Obnoxiously neon lime green fingerless gloves
Dog tag
Hoop Earrings
Silver Buckle Belt
Dark camo trousers with chains dangling at their hips
Boots
---
For their 'dupes'/'lookalikes' I managed to find these:

1. Cotton Crop Tank Top in Black - American Apparel - $19.50 (you can buy it on lovemelrose.com) you can buy it here.
2. Cropped Crew Neck Tee in White - Forever 21 - $7.90 you can buy it here
3. Hank's Black and Silver Tone Dog Tag Necklace - Emitations - $16 you can buy it here
4. Oversized Hoop Earrings in Silver - Forever 21 - $3.90 you can buy it here
5. Faux Leather Square-Buckle Belt - Forever 21 - $5.90 you can buy it here
6. Columbia Silver Ridge Printed Pant - Zappos - $65 you can buy it here (This is pretty pricey but I chose this one because this is the most similar in pattern and colour to the one SNSD wears) or alternatively you can search for other cheaper ones here.
7. Textured Faux Leather Hiking Boots - Forever 21 - $27.80 you can buy it here

Phew that's a lot!
Note: if you are thinking of putting up an outfit similar to this, you can always find alternative and cheaper clothing to the ones I mentioned above, especially for both the tops and accessories. Experiment and be creative, sister! :)

I realise most of the items are from Forever 21...Welp I'm not biased nor am I affiliated towards F21 -  I've never really shopped there before (there aren't many F21 stores in Australia and especially where I live) - but I guess this just makes it easier for you to browse through majority of the above items if you're interested in purchasing any of them.

Hope you enjoy this post!
Cheers!
Claire

Look at how 2PM's Nichkhun and SNSD's Tiffany match with the hearts!

The couple photo is actually photoshopped. This is the original photo of Tiffany (can't find the original Nichkhun one though):

Following Taeyeon's stunning shoot for High Cut, Yuri is the next SNSD member to grace us with her photogenic charm. Although the pictures mainly showcase her makeup, I was fond of her cute and casual outfit, so I searched for some affordable dupes.

Sweaters (Left to Right)
Derek Heart's Tunic Sweater ($19.00)
Romwe's V Neck Boyfriend Sweater ($21.33)
Shorts (Left to Right)
ChicNova's High Waist Shorts ($14.43)
Forever 21's Woven Shorts ($12.90)
American Apparel's Interlock Running Short ($22.00)

Socks (Left to Right)
Urban Outfitters Crew Sock ($14.00)
Forever 21's Crew Socks ($3.90)

Hope you enjoyed the finds; pop a comment down below if you've spotted other cute options!

A very competitive "who wore it better this time". It is between members from Korea's top two girl groups, 2NE1 and Girls' Generation. They are both wearing the Striped stretch-cotton mini dress from T by Alexander Wang

2NE1's Dara wore the dress in Singles Magazine March 2015 issue. Her outfit overall is casual, suited for a day out.

SNSD's Sooyoung wore the dress in Nylon Magazine February 2015 issue. Her overall look is a tad more formal, like for a date or a classy night out.

Both are suited to be models!

Taeyeon of Girls' Generation was featured in f(x)'s Amber's solo debut single, "Shake That Brass". Although Amber is the star of the music video, I couldn't seem to find stock photos of the clothes she's wearing (yet), so I'll first post on Taeyeon.

You know how rich and well-connected SM Entertainment is when their idols wear clothes that are luxury designer and it's not even the season for it yet.

Taeyeon is wearing the 'Drink Moschino' sleeveless wool dress from Moschino's S/S 2015 collection. Buy here.

Here she is wearing the 'Drink Moschino' bomber jacket, also from Moschino's S/S 2015 collection. Buy here.

Just to teach you something if you didn't know already, Moschino is pronounced mos-key-no, not mos-chee-no since the brand is Italian.

What do you think of Amber's song? I happen to like it a lot, although I think the choreography is a bunch of recycled moves from other K-pop dances... Oh well the song itself is fresh with the brass sounds!

On 150115, Girls' Generation-TTS attended the 29th Golden Disk Awards. Let's check out the beautiful dresses they wore to the event!

At first I was going to try to find the bags that the Jung sisters were holding, but then I found out the photo was from a Lapalette photoshoot -_- Silly me. Thus, the bags are obviously from Lapalette.

On the other hand, I recognized the hats that Jessica and Krystal Jung are wearing. They are both the Soft Colored Woolen Fedora Hat from Stylenanda with Krystal wearing the sky blue one and Jessica wearing the light pink one. Buylink here

At first I thought this was a Spongebob handbag ^^; (it's not)
While I was editing yesterday's finds of Jessica I was thinking, "Jiepaidao.com is totally gonna steal this," and what do you know, I couldn't have been more right :P Marie Claire Magazine outright stated what Jessica was wearing in the captions yet they still took the finds from this website, how lazy can they get -___- They couldn't make the educated guess that everything she wore is from Dior and had to wait until we posted it? That website is completely a combination of stolen finds from original K-pop fashion websites, yet they have a request line! What's the point of them having a request line when they don't know anything or can't do anything for themselves? I just don't understand. Rant over.

Both dresses that Jessica Jung wore in Marie Claire Magazine December 2014 issue are from the Christian Dior Resort 2015 collection
