Crush's 'Oasis'

Korean hip hop artist Crush recently had a music video released called "Oasis" featuring Block B's Zico. Our regular supporter Alexander To sent us a tip on a couple of tops that he was wearing in the MV.

Whether you are a SONE or not, anyone who keeps up with K-pop knows that Girls' Generation made a comeback this summer. Here are my finds from their "Party" MV so far.

Girl's Day joined the ranks of summer 2015 comebacks with "Ring My Bell". A couple of K-pop fashion finds from their MV:

 Sojin is wearing the black & white hang neck high-waist cut-out monokini
/swimsuit/bodysuit. I'm not sure if it's a knockoff of a real brand but I was only able to find it on aliexpress.com. There are several listings of this item on that website and here is one of them. I strongly suggest you shop with caution on AliExpress - it's like eBay where reputation, service, and quality depends on individual sellers. Personally I've had both hits and misses when I shopped there.

CLC's 'Like' ('Curious')

After watching CLC's full MV 'Like' (궁금해 / Curious), it's as if I hit the mother lode from all the costumes and change of clothes in it. Too bad my memory isn't what it used to be because I recognize a lot of the clothes (many of which are Korean brands) but can't remember where they're from. Or maybe I have information overload in my brain and seen too many clothes to recall where they're all from.

Fortunately, I'm still able to make some finds. Quite a few more items are from Di$count Univer$e.

Hello! :) I'm back to squeeze in some finds amidst my hectic work schedule /le cries.

SHINee's 'View'

A couple of K-pop fashion finds from SHINee's new MV, "View". What did you think of it?
Jonghyun is wearing the Original Vintage 1992 Guns N Roses Coma World Tour Shirt. Stylists cut off the sleeves to turn it into a muscle tee. The T-shirt is rare and vintage, so it is harder to find and will be on the pricier side. There are a couple for sale here and here.

Ailee's Bandage Dress

Reader Eleanor L. was shopping for a winter formal dress a couple of months ago and happened to find the dress worn by Ailee in her "I'll Show You" MV. What a pleasant coincidence!

CLC's 'Pepe' (2)

I cannot believe that I found this dress. The famous dress that everyone wants to know in CLC's "Pepe" MV has finally been found.

 
It's still finals for me right now but during my study break I was shopping for graduation dresses and came across the Out of Bounds Dress on Nasty Gal. Buy it here, it's on sale for cheap!

Stylists modified the back of the dress by attaching a rectangle piece of white fabric. I thought the original dress back design was nice, wonder why they changed it...

A good chunk of my finds are a result of me online shopping. I actually stopped online shopping for awhile to save money (student loans grrr) so this is a fortunate event :D

BIGBANG's 'Loser'

BIGBANG is finally back!!!! :D One of the music videos they released is called "Loser" and I managed to make one K-pop fashion find.  

    In the MV, Seungri looks really good in blond! The hair color suits him so well. He is wearing the Classic Motorcycle Jacket in Black Leather from Saint Laurent's Permanent Collection. Buy here.    I love T.O.P but not digging his hair as much... I know Naimah, the other K-world Style writer, agrees with me on this.

BASTARZ's 'Conduct Zero'

A week ago, Block B's sub-unit group BASTARZ released their MV for "Conduct Zero" (품행제로). I managed to make a K-pop fashion find for each member. All of them are wearing pieces from the FREIKNOCK S/S 2015 collection.

CLC's 'Pepe'

New girl group CLC from Cube Entertainment recently debuted with a song called "Pepe". In the MV, I made one K-pop fashion find in two different colors.    Rapper and maknae YeEun is wearing the Cross Print crop top from Stylenanda. In the part where the group wears the pink letterman jackets she is wearing it in white.  

Eddy is on Fire

Wahh I made this find when JJCC's "Fire" (질러) MV came out but forgot all about it until JJCC recently came back with their "On the Flower Bed". Well... better late than never right?

JJCC's 'On the Flower Bed'

JJCC released a beautiful feel-good song called "On the Flower Bed" (꽃밭에서) with a scenic, bright MV to accompany it. It reminded me of B.A.P's "Where Are You?" (어디니? 뭐하니?). Get the Look: SNSD's 'Catch Me If You Can' MV

Hi everyone!

GG is finally back with 'Catch Me If You Can' and boy am I impressed by their dance moves! Very different to their previous songs such as Mr. Mr. where they showcased classy and sophisticated sexy, this song blows your mind with their slightly rough, slightly grimy (in a very, very good way), tough but still sexy aura and overall topping it off with grunge-ish outfits.

Digressing a bit, before I became a KWS writer I often peruse the articles of fashion finds and realised most of the finds are really expensive (think designer brands), and as a reader and avid K-fashion person I find myself wanting to imitate or get inspirations from my favourite K-pop idol (who doesn't want to look like GD, really)
But of course me and expensive don't necessarily go together, and I doubt it will for many out there. So that's when 'Get the Look' comes into play! And who doesn't love cheap but great quality clothing?

This simple outfit consists of:  Black bandeau/black cropped tank  White cropped top - cut off at certain parts, smeared with a bit of grime and dirt and looking thoroughly distressed(?) Phew that's a lot! Note: if you are thinking of putting up an outfit similar to this, you can always find alternative and cheaper clothing to the ones I mentioned above, especially for both the tops and accessories. Experiment and be creative, sister! :)
I realise most of the items are from Forever 21...Welp I'm not biased nor am I affiliated towards F21 -  I've never really shopped there before (there aren't many F21 stores in Australia and especially where I live) - but I guess this just makes it easier for you to browse through majority of the above items if you're interested in purchasing any of them.     Hope you enjoy this post! EXO's 'Call Me Baby' (6)

More EXO finds~! First up Chen surprised us with his 'magical wardrobe change'  from his 'Call Me Baby' shirt to a red Supreme Logo Rib L/S Tee from the 2014 Fall/Winter Collection, lounging and dancing with enough swagger to rival Lil' Wayne. His ramen-styled hair is another story though. (Really hair-stylist coordinator, really?!)  

Unfortunately there's no buylink in their official online store, but you can still check out here for the price of this item, and here for the picture of the top (in navy) on their official website. You can always search on Ebay if you want to purchase it (and they have a range of other colours too such as white, teal and black)
