Get the Look: RaNia & Bikini Season

(sorry guys, this one is for the ladies)

By now, I think we've all seen RaNia's bikini pictures for their Woongjin Play City CF. And I'm sure man of us (myself included) were quite envious of their fabulous bodies. While I can't magically give you great '11' abs or perfect skin, hair, legs, etc., with a bathing suit that flatter's your body, feeling sexy is almost 100% guaranteed. So let's take a look at some suits that are guaranteed to make you feel fresh.

Get the Look: Kdrama Inspiration from the Past

There are many popular Korean dramas that are set in the way past (e.g. 'Faith', 'Arang and the Magistrate', 'The Great Seer', 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal', etc.). I really enjoy seeing this historical fashion while watching these shows. Instead of forcing you all to read about the history of Korean fashion, I decided it would be nice to draw inspiration from these in a Get the Look.

Get the Look: Iris 2 (Part 1)

Hey guys, today I am inspired by a drama that just recently ended, Iris 2, staring Lee Da Hae and Jang Hyuk. It is a sequel set three years after the death of a NSS Agent back in Iris 1 (staring Kim Tae Hee and Lee Byun Hun).

I was loving everything that was worn in the drama, but unfortunately I was only able to choose two characters. Starting off with Yoon So-Yi; In the drama she plays the part of Iris. I love the stylist choices in picking clothes for this particular character because what she wears seems to be trendy, yet it gives her a strong feminine vibe.

Get the Look: T-ara N4's 'Jeon Won Diary'

Have you enjoyed T-ara N4's new song? Well, I know we at K-world Style have loved all the crazy fashion in 'Jeon Won Diary'. Unfortunately, the prices of kpop clothing are quite steep  So we decided to create a 'Get the Look' for T-ara. With the exception of one jean jacket, everything is under $35.

Mr. Bear, It's Over!

I just watched Lee Hi's new music video, and I couldn't stop staring at all the outlandish bear things! Between hats, teddy bears, and even clothing, the entire video reminded me of a trip to Build-a-Bear Workshop. Today's post is a sort of culmination of a bunch of little "Get the Look"s.

First up, Lee Hi's bear dress. The approximate dress I found is Lu Flux's Boo Boo Bear Dress, which you can buy here. 

Some things about this dress are not the same as the one in the video. For example, it seems as if Lee Hi bear's face is rounder, but I think the dress may have been commissioned by YG from Lu Flux.

Next up, we have a Get the Look  for one of her accessories; the fluffy white bear brooch.

Here we have Lee Hi's cute headband. I think her stylists made it themselves (YG stylists are so crafty!);  it has a my little pony, mushrooms, frootloops, a disco ball, and it even has M&M's.

Get The Look: SHINee - Sherlock

You might have noticed the poll in our sidebar. It actually had a purpose! I've been insecure about whether I should make a "Get The Look" post or not, so I figured I should ask our readers! And so I did ~ I asked you on our Facebook page, if you'd like us (read: me, since I'm the only one doing this at the moment) to make some "Get The Look" posts or not. I didn't really get much of a response on that, but a few handful liked my post/suggestion. Oh well...what to do then? Maybe putting up a poll would give me an idea about what you all think! And so the poll started xD

Get The Look: Hyuna's Dark Jean Shorts

So this is going to be a lame post, but I'm still caught up on Hyuna's " Bubble Pop" and her excessive amount of jean shorts. And I thought I found a pair she wore, but silly me, the ones I found actually cover the wearer's behind (if you get my gist); regardless, get the look:

Oh my god I love F(x)'s stylists and totally want to punch them at the same time for making me do this =.=

Hair Dyes: O.O Four hair dyes... I think that's a new record...
Blond-- She wore a wig for Nu ABO promotions, so this is the blond wig color. Garnier Nurtrisse's Exra-light Ash Blond White Chocolate. $6.97.
Brown-- For when she wasn't wearing the wig? Garnier Herbashines Light Natural Brown.$7.99.
Blond Highlights-- Garnier Nutrisse's Pralines n' Cream. $6.91.
Yellow Tip-- Woo-hoo yellow dye! If you don't like this... I don't know, dip your hair in a bottle of paint? $11.64. (I know, expensive, but it's like, a whole pot of the stuff)

See-through Shirts: Sulli wears a see through hoodie thing from Jeremy Scott. I tried to find a cheap mesh hoodie, but no... So you could go with American Apparel's lace sweater. $42.
OR A cheaper option... Forever21's Ribbons and lace top. $15.80.

Shirt: Yeah... Striped shirt. You could really wear any white based t-shirt for this. 11.80 CAD.

Skirts: Two options... Although you can't really see the second one. You could either go with the plain black layered mesh skirt. $28.
OR That thing in the corner. it's a polka-dot layered skirt. $22.

Leggings: Sulli is wearing fleamadonna, but who needs planet leggings?! You could go with these cute holey ones... 23 CAD.

Sneakers: Go floral. 13 CAD.
OR just get white sneakers (this pair is REALLY pricey, but I was too lazy to find another pair). $325.80 (!). NOW! About these! Tie a pink ribbon on one of the shoes and a black one on the other, because that's the point of Sulli's shoes.

Okay! Let's go go!!!

Hairdye: f(x)'s hairdressers LIKE to color the girls' hair in very special ways! Amber's base is a light brown color. I suggest Garnier Herbashine's Light Natural Brown 600 ($5.99). You can achieve the blonde highlights with Garnier Nutrisse's Beige Blonde Pralines N' Cream ($6.97).

Shirt: I really like this shirt. This is Silence and Noise's Oversized Animal Print Tee ($38).

Pants: Ok guys, I'm giving you a LOT of choices. You can try to match Amber with these black ripped skinnies($24.99).
OR you could get Plain black skinnies ($29.80)
OR even with a gray, acid wash ripped jean (Link is weird).

Vest: You could get this layered vest ($39.50)
OR This faux fur one ($27.90). There are lots of cute other options as well. :)

Hair Accessories: You could go with the "manly" hat ($12.90).
OR if you like girly things better... This flowery hairband ($9.80).

Belt: She has something dangling from her hips... We'll assume its a pretty jangly belt so I have excuse to mention this braided belt ($7.80).

Gloves: Fingerless gloves (Canadian $4.80)! Yeaaaah! The accessory that actually serves no purpose!

Bracelet: These are out of stock... Really though, I don't think anyone is lacking in bracelets. The point on her wrists is one red rubbery one, so if you have one, GREAT!

Get the Look: Nu ABO Victoria!

Here ya go!

Hair Dyes: Everyone knows that f(x)'s hair was quite elaborate for their Nu ABO promotions... So this is a somewhat toned down version of Victoria's hair.

Brown: The majority of her hair is brown, and a fairly good dupe for that is the Garnier Herbashine Light Natural Brown color, but any brown is fine.

Blond: Vicky has blond highlights in her bangs, so... Garnier Nutrisse Beige Blond Highlight color.

Red: Now, the tips of Vic's hair are dyed red, and this red is not ideal, but I am too tired to go find a better one. This is a red dye, but feel free to go find a dye with a more purple tone.

Shirt: You could opt for the loose fitting gray shirt from canadian forever21 for 16.80 canadian dollars. (I would suggest getting a bigger size).
OR If you have insane abs, or want to wear a tank underneath, you could go with a cropped top, from wet seal for $19.80.

Leggings: I personally don't like having leggings with a short top, so if you go with the cropped option above, opt out for black jeans. Otherwise, these black textured leggings are $24 at forever21.

Boots: If you're lame like me, and can't walk (let alone dance) in heels, the Booties from Delias are a better option.

OR If you can handle heels, forever21 has these white booties for $26.80.

Bracelets: Nu ABO is ALL about accessories! So this stretchy beaded bracelet for $7.80.

AND/OR this set of bangles for $4.80.

Necklace: A pearl/gold necklace adds a bit of feminine charm to the outfit. This one is $24.80 from forever21.

Ring: So, I don't know if Victoria is wearing a ring, but this ring is SO AWESOME! This tiger ring is only $10 from wet seal!

Whew! That one took FOREVER! Who needs that many haircolors?!

HEY GUYS!!!

Shirt: Hello's fashion point is the leopard print, and this gray leopard print shirt is pretty close to Jonghyun's (kinda, but since I always have the bad luck of link's being busted)... Here's another option.
OR You could layer this cardigan over a white tee.

Jeans: These are simple light-blue jeans at forever21 for $19.80 (they're out of the darker color :( but if you like a light wash, these are good).
OR If you like acid wash better, this pair is available for $22.80.

Boots: Leather boots... Always leather boots. I know that for a lot of my get the looks I have leather boots, but... eh, they look good. This pair is $35, a little pricey, but they're shoes, so it's not THAT bad...

Bracelet: Lastly, a little bracelet to finish it off. This baby is 11 canadian dollars here.

I promised I'd do Shinee's Hello, so here I am! I will not be doing a male version, because since Shinee is male (although Taemin is prettier than a girl) and its easier for males to copy male clothing. :) Sorry...

Hair Colors:In Shinee's Hello promotions, Onew has highlights :). You can emulate his look with Garnier Herbashine's Light Natural Brown (600) for $7.99 and Garnier Nutrisse's Extra-Light Ash Blonde White Chocolate (111).
Shirt: This shirt is just a standard button-down shirt. You can substitute this shirt with any similar beige button-down. However, this one is available at forever21 for $17.80.

Skirt: Instead of trying to find pants just like Onew's, I decided, since this Get the Look IS for girls, why not take the liberty of picking a skirt? Girls like me, who don't like skirts can hunt down a tan or brown chinos. However, this skirt is out of stock (it wasn't when I made this get the look. So, um, a leopard print skirt.

Leggings: In order to add more leopard to the outfit, I added in these leopard leggings as well. These are out of stock, but these are from the same website (Yesstyle) for $27.
Tie: This is a cute skinny tie which is 12.90 canadian dollars from canada forever21.

Bracelet:As an optional finishing touch, this bracelet is 9.80 canadian dollars at forever21 as well. :)


Sorry that these get the looks take so long, I do have to do all the commentary and links, so it takes up to an hour :) On busy days I'll just do easy finds.

Get the Look: Taemin's Black Look for Girls

Hairdye: As posted before, this is the closest color I can get to Taemin's color... The color will show up different depending on your original color. This is Garnier Nutrisse's Light Auburn for 7.99.

Shirt: This is just a basic white t-shirt. Forever21 is out of stock for this color, but the other colors are 4.50.

Jacket: Any leather jacket with a modern feel should do. Forever21 is out of stock for my example, but this is another good one, available for $24.50.

Pants: I gave two examples for this one. The leather one is out of stock, but there is a close match for $19.80.OR you could go with the denim for $29.80.
Shoes: These shoes are out of stock (what is with everything being out of stock), but any combat style boot should do. These are a good choice, for $29.80.

Tie: This particular one is $9.90, but any skinny tie should suffice.

Visor: You may have noticed Taemin's weird green plastic thing on his hoodie... I decided to be more practical and offer the option of a visor. This one is $10.

Bangles: These are... Yeah, you guessed it, out of stock. However, this set is $8.80.

Get the Look: Taemin's Not So White Look for Girls

Hairdye: I compared the hairdyes, and I think Garnier Nutrisse's Light Auburn is quite close. Naturally, the dye will be different on different colors of hair. For my hair, which is very dark, I'd need to go with a lighter shade. You can get it here for $7.99.

Tank: This is a basic black tank, so everyone has one... This particular one is $11 at old navy.

Vest: This is essentially a biker jacket style vest... This sweater vest is available from canadian forever21 for 34 canadian dollars.

Jeans: I put in canadian forever21 jeans as an example for what I wanted, but its out of stock. The brighter version is American Apparel, but its out of stock... Just get red jeans!


Gloves: These gloves are from hot topic for $6.
Shoes: You can get these boots at canadian forever21 for 33 canadian dollars. If this is not an option, I would aim for any cowboy style boots that have a bit of a biker feel.

If you really want, you can get shinguards too... (lol)
