New Soshi!

So I just saw the Black Soshi Preview.. and immediately recognized something.

The vest Hyoyeon was wearing (my fav member XD)
I was cruising through Big21 Fashion Evolution a couple days ago, and remembered seeing that military esque vest.

Minzy wore it for "Try to Follow Me" as well ^^.

JJ Magazine!

So, from my aunt in japan, I was able to get my hands on JJ magazine featuring DBSK!!! XD XD XD XD XD XD XD

And usually on japanese magazines they post what clothing the "models" are wearing.. !! Mostly for these top artists, it's usually the "stylist's own clothing" hence they don't even put the brand name down, but I found some that DBSK were wearing ^^.

UNFORTUNATELY I couldnt find anything for Changmin T_T T_T T_T so sad T_T
So to compensate that, here is a collage just for Changmin ^^.

Junsu is wearing a V-neck from Halb. It's from their 2010 Spring Summer collection. I found a similar (possibly a fake, since it goes by the brand Halb...) here for 14,700 yen.

Finally, but definately not the least,

Jae is wearing a Checkered shirt by Halb (which I believe is the same one from their 2010 Spring Summer collection, shown above.) He is also wearing an Iroquois X Garden of Eden collaboration necklace (rose choker) for 17,850 yen (approx. $190)
The rest is, as you may have guessed, are they stylist's clothing.

Halb, Garden of Eden and Iroquois are all japanese brands.

Minho's jacket was not the only one I found during visit to Sapporo's Orphanage. Taemin's jacket is from Grotesk x Nike Pipe Dream Team Collection. Grotesk was inspired by 1940s - 1950s baseball in particular. The Jacket is called Nike Grotesk Colab Bomber.

It is available for both ladies and men. 

 Left is the ladies available for $95.97 at the official Nike store. On the right is for men which is available at Caliroots for 600 SEK.

Sorry everyone that I haven't really replied to emails, comments, etc. Nikki's too busy and I only have time to post finds but I have March Break next week. That mean I'll have one week off so I can focus on this.

Qri looks absolutely gorgeous in that Mango C'est Pas Vrai Sequin Tank. It is from Mango's Spring 2010 "C'est Pas Vrai" Collection. C'est Pas Vrai means "It's Not True" in French. I've noticed some differences in the tank, possibility of a fake? I'm 89% sure it is real, what do you think? After all, a magazine wouldn't promote fake clothing. :D right?

Nikki's Favorites from the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week @ NYC XD

Hey guys I'm back! Sorry that I didn't do anything for a while.. was really busy with a musical at our school, which ended up pretty well so all is good ^^.

Just wanted to shout out an apology for Maria for not being able to help her out in this harsh time. You know, without Maria this whole blog wouldn't exist!! T_T
So I'm just very glad that Maria is recieving help and is hopefully recovering well ^^.


Before we get started on this, I think I should explain my paradox taste in fashion...
I love monochromatic colors (the blacks, the whites, and the inbetween) as well as bright colors (yellow, etc.)
I like form fitting attires, but flowy.
I love simple yet complex desings.
I also like asymmetry.
I like shiny (especially metallic) but not overly sparkly/shiny things
I don't like animal print. but lately, subtle ones i can deal with ^^
I HATE fur. only very rarely do i like it.

Confused yet? XD lol.
I feel that my sense of fashion is really flexible.

Okay, so for some high class fashion... Lots of pictures so here we go!
(i divided this up into two posts... so enjoy part one!)


First is Adam. I particularly like these three designs. Going from the left, I'm loving the white long coat with simple dark tights. And the bulky scarf too. The Bulky scarf reminds me of korean fashion.... Not so sure if i'm liking the furry stuff on the arms. I like how this coat makes the model look long.
Middle picture, I like the flowy/baggy top yet with the belt it's still slim fitting. It shows off her waist and hips. I like the simplicity here.
Right: I also like how the belt accentuates her waist, but the dress itself is rather loose. Looks comfy!



Next up is Badgley Mischka.
I like the asymmetry in the left model. The fur... eh... I like the long boots too though. Wish they were a little more tighter on her legs, so her legs would be defined more.
Right: I like the shoulder drape ^^ paired with the tight pants ^^. The shoulder drape is loose, yet the actual top is quite form defining, like at the waist, whichi like as well ^^. and LOVE the button like things on the side - kind of a military esque thing? I like that ^^.



Next is BCBGMAXAZRIA
Left: Again, asymmetry, flowy yet shape defining because of the belt ^^. And i like how everything other than the dress is extremely simple, so only the dress stands out. The design on the dress is simple yet complex (sorry if it's confusing.. T_T) something that reminds me of an interior desing of a modern themed room ^^.
Right: I find this a little messy, but i do like the one line of yellow ^^ Somehow i am REALLY attracted to yellow... I like the usage of the black/white/gray stripes n the inside top too ^^



Georges Chakra
The first thing that struck me was the designer's name. Chakra. Anyone read Naruto here? Anything ring a bell? lol.
Far left: I like the metallic blue, it's shiny but not too shiny. I chose this picture because I was actually curious to see the pants...
mid left: I'm not sure if i like the top "X", but other than that I relaly like the simplicity of the dress. The pocket like things are cool too ^^. It keeps things even more simple with simple heels ^^
mid right: I like the collar and the sleeves of this dress. it's not as tight as the other one, but i like it's looseness, probably more than the blue dress. and the black gloves does match well, in my opinion. just maybe shorter. maybe as short as normal gloves.
far right:i knew something was good about this outfit, but now i'm not feeling it. maybe the weirdness of the round collar. i think that was it.

Far left: i like the colors used here. really reminds me of the deep ocean, and i like oceans lol. i like how it's layered too. But in my opninon the shoulder straps could be thinner, the v cut a little higher, and the waist band tigher/the skirt part more... poofy? and the dress shorter in general.
mid left: normally slits scare me, but this slit is in a different place, that it's not bothering me as much ^^. i like how the dress scrunches up at one point near the waist, creating these folds which i like ^^ to top it off, strapless looks nice for this dress ^^
mid right: this one is basically a mini version of the mid left one, but more detailed? the top's design is really cool, all weaving in and out and such, and ofcourse the scrunch ^^. this time instead of folds, its more like... ruffles? it's a cute dress that I would actually wear if i had the money.... T_T
far right: ok. APART FROM THE FUR i like the skirt, which isn't too mini. this actually reminds me of a school girl.. with fur.. i like the gray under jacket thing paired with the black skirt ^^. and the closed toe heels to top it off ^^.




Jill Stuart
far left: ignore the hat... i like the jacket with the belt - again the whole hourglass like shape. and i actually like the olive green with it. but the neck area seems awkward... there should be more volume or no volume.. it's like right in between. the lace shoes are cool! reminds me of hyunah during change and snsd during one of their oh! performances.
mid left: LOVE THE HAT >.< and the long scarf too! and the gloves! i have a thing for winter accessories... ^^. i like the top, it reminds me of krystal from f(x). the color usage of white, black is what i like, and that design isn't too vibrant. the skirt is unique too, with the gray stripe. it looks like there's an extra layer of skirt there. but... i dont like the shirt with the skirt with the winter accessories.. the skirt works better with the winter stuff...
mid right: i like the top fo this dress? or is it a top? i normally dont like one shoulder tihngs, but this is an exception ^^. like i said way too many times, i like the thightness at the top and the loosness at the bottom ^^
far right: i like the top shirt/jacket thing. only, i think it's too big for the model, and doesnt go with the skirt. they should have a skinnier, a little shorter version of the top with skinny jeans or something... leggings... just not that skirt.


Lela Rose
far left: it reminds me of an office lady, only a fashionable one. i like it when people wear formal wear ^^. my only wish, as you may all have guessed, is a tighter waistline, to show off her hips (or maybe lack of thereof) recently i've been digging dark tights...
mid left: i like gold with white. and again, it's a one shoulder that i like. the ruffles at the shoulder is nice, and with that i think its fine with the wide shoulder strap. the dress comes above the knees, making the model (and anyone who wears anything above the knees) have skinnier longer legs. but instead of a ribbon or whatever that is, maybe a little bit fatter simple belt would have been better.
mid right: i like the neck area. an intense turtle neck, that it looks like scarves. im liking the stripes too ^^. and with the simple but rather complex top, a simple black skirt is paired up. nice XD.
far right: i put this picture in because the colors reminded me of outerspace, and when i was small i loved space and the constellations and such ^^. the dress itself.. it's okay. like the shape is nice and all, it's form defining, but something about it just doenst catch me. i think it's the hip area... like an awkward bulkyness there..




MILLY by MICHELLE SMITH
far left: i dont remember why i have this in there..... Oh! the skirt! i like the skirt ^^. but not the top. the buttons.. are okay, kinda big. but the neckline is what i dont like. and the sleeves. looks almost like a borrowed blouse from someone over 60... they should make the neckline wider and bigger, or smaller. it's like.. right in the middle..
mid left: i like thie design.. reminds me of a japanese lantern ^^ i put this in because i thought it was different, with the shoulder strap on the left shoulder instead of the right. for me, i think i like the right shoulder straps better... but the shape of thedress is nice ^^
middle: yes the jacket is nice, the top inside is okay, skirt's fine too, but the blue gloves is what caught my attention. it doesn't match, which is why i kinda like it. if only the jacket/top/skirt were fixed to match eachother...
mid right: green tights. yes. i actually like this. i like the top too, but i can't tel if it's a jacket only or a jacket with the inside the same color. it hink it's only the jacket. again, the high neck is nice ^^. just the hat or whatever you call it.. reminds me too much of paris.. nice strappy heels by the way ^^. and the fingerless gloves ^^.
far right: again, like the one with the blue gloves, something is weird with the jacket, top and skirt. (i think it's too much like.. a lamp post or something..) but i like the red lines and the yellow gloves, although not together. maybe if they made the jacket a little longer, buttoned up at the waist, the top can stay the same, and the skirt... maybe not so stiff? i like the tights though.

Far left: too many rufles. but i love how the top is form fitting, the bottom is looser but still you can see (or atleast imagine) her body line ^^.
mid left: i just thought that it was a really interesting idea to not have floal print, but to actually have flower 3D designs on a slim fit dress like this. (i can udnerstand for the previous one..) lhuilliere choose a good color for it, in my opinion. idk about that... ribbon? though.
mid right: i dont like the shoulder strap here, rather have like.. skinnier double straps and a not so low v-neck or even a crew cut. but what caught my attention was the gold at the edge of the dress. it's simple, yet still looks luxurious fashionable. fashionable in a quiet way ^^.
far right: GREEN. that's why i have this pic here.

Nikki's Favorites from the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week @ NYC part 2

Hey guys! It's Nikki here to finish up her review on the Fashion Week in February ^^.
So here we go~~.

I believe I left of here..


Nicole Miller
Left: I like the silver on black action going on here ^^. It's a really simple design - basically lines, a nice length dress, not too elaborate but not dull and plain either ^^. Don't know about the hat though..
Mid left: I like it when shirts are topped with vest like dresses and a belt. I like how she stayed with the monochrome colors here, so the colors wont take away from the design/layering. I'm not too fond of the inside black collars, I would want to see how longer white collars would go with that. And again the hat..
Mid right: This dress is like the first one, except with the really loose volumized collar, or perhaps it's a scarf? But the amount of clothing around the neck draws my attention, and the silver design peeking out from that down the lenght of the dress is really cool. I like her boots/leg warmers as well ^^.
right: I like the crumpliness of the dress XD. All her dresses' lengths are in my opinion just the right length. Not long, not too short. I like how this dress is long sleeves (or 3/4 sleeved), different from the others. I think in the winter I dig blacks and grays and silvers ^^.

Well.. there were quite a lot of dresses that I liked from his collection ^^
Top row:
far left: I like the shiny-ness^. and the drapy feeling. Again, the whole loose yet form fitting theme that I over use, yet I love it:). I wish the metallic color was a different one though.. it seems too subdued? compared to the design. Maybe more silver.
mid left: First thing I will say is that I'm not feeling the color choice here. but otherwise, I think it's a really interesting design. Sort of like the first one with the drapy/form fitting theme. If it were different colors (maybe even black and white) I think I would love this dress.
mid right: This one is like an extended version of the first dress, but I like the colors here better.
far right: I like the creamy color paired with the dark see-through tights. The top part looks a tiny bit messy, but i like the asymmetry/drapy/tightness XD. Her hair and eyes are pretty too XD.
Bottom row:
far left: I normally dont like purple, but something about this purple attracted my attention. I think it's because it's paired up with two different shades of purple, in ruffles. The ruffles arent too much of my thing, but I really like the way how he designed it so that the dress is just right for her body, so she doesnt seem fat while not looking like a toothpick.
mid left: again, loving the metallics here ^^. i wish the waist strap was smaller? so it doesn't go too far down. but the V-neck is a change from his previous dresses, and it showed me that this guy can work out one shoulders and v-necks XD. the ruffly skirt is nice too XD.
mid right: Now for a sleeved dress! This dress wouldnt be so interesting without the streaks of quasi-skin showing here^^. The dress's length is nice, too XD.
far right: i love the color, topped with the belt XD. but this time i wish the bet was a little more wider and came a little higher. Otherwise, the ruffles are great (i like these ruffles more than the purple dress's XD)
I guess what i like about this designer is his flowy/drapy but still shows off the body ^^.



Toni Francesc
left: I normally dont like short sleeved dresses, but this one is an exception XD. the asymmetryness, formfitting, reminds me of a sexy office lady or something XD lol.
the tights are really interesting too!
right: i love the jacket! the form of it.. reminds me of military-esque things lol. and the pants/leggings with the high boots are a great combination! To add my own personal taste, i would somehow dye the jacket black, add those black stips across the front zipper with gold buttons, and add a black strip with gold buttons on the shoulder area as well XD.

far left: the scarf! i want it! lol. I like how everything else is simple (all black, the skirt has some of its own funkiness there, but it's not too noticable) so it really draws attention towards the scarf. i can totally see office ladies in NYC wearing this...
mid left: i like the belt with the dress XD. i wish the dress was a more distinc grey color, or even creamy color to white. but the detail in the shoulder area is really cool, and adds more sexiness with the peek of the collar bone.
mid right: you know, at first glance i liked this, but after careful second looks, im not feeling it as much. especially the left hand side long drape..
far right: this is really interesting. i wish it was a little bit longer, so the top would come down to her mid thighs..



Tracy Reese
far left: apart from the ginormous scarf, i ike the small detail on her dress, with high cut boots. and sunglasses! i wish they chose a longer, not so volumized scarf than this one...
mid left: i like how she has a fine detailed coat with black sleeves or fingerless gloves from underneath. as with her skirt, i wish the tights and the skirt color were a little more distinct..
mid: the long coat with a belt reminds me of one of the Ring Ding Dong performances, where minho wore a long coat with a belt... lol. (he also did that for juliette too!) i want to see her dress inside.. I hope it's a grey dress with gold and othet metallic line designs!!
mid right: i actually like the pattern on her shirt! and this scarf is much better. the shirt reminds me of a tiger, something fierce. she's got the power! lol
far right: the ruffly skirt - are ruffles the thing now? XD. the highness of the skirt seems a little awkward, but i like how she used monochrome instead of throwing in a brown in this outfit.


Somehow my picture for VeraWang fails to work...
But what I can say is, is that I LOVE vera wang's usage of black XD. I think she is one of the best people who can work with black XD.
Like, it's not simply black. It's a fashionable black ^^.
(although I wasn't too fond of Evan Lysacek's snake outfit... lol)


Lastly,

Finally a designer label not of a name of a person.
far left: i put this picture in because it was the most.. unique? I can't even name what is on her hips/waist, it's probably a new clothing article of some sort. But anyhow, it left a huge impression in my mind XD. i like the cropped jacket though! nice colors with the navy blue and white zipper XD.
mid left: YELLOW! lol. i like the long jacket. i have a thing for not normal lenght jackets. if they put one of those ties around the waist, then i would love it more.
mid right: i like the boots, how they are thick at the top XD. this outfit also is a unique one that stuck in my mind, especially the mardigras-esque face mask XD. although she does resemble somewhat of a jailmate, i like the extra fabric around the neck XD.
far right: i like how she has loose fitting pants instead of tights or tight fitting pants. i also like how the scarf is tied. not too sure of the coat, but the bag and boots are nice ^^.

These are just my opinions so they aren't in anyway professional fashion criticism/comments.

A New York Thing

MBC Star Dance Battle BEAST outfits were summarized by Rainbow Veins already. The jackets are from Stussy. Junhyung's cap is from Phenomenon. She did miss one thing :D Gikwang's cap is from aNYthing (A New York Thing). I always thought about posting something on them, but I never really did it. XD

Long time no post! It's Nikki here.

First, I have to say I'm sorry I did not update as much. There are reasons, but who cares for excuses anyway? XD

So I was just searching through this website looking for a shirt MBLAQ was wearing at the Star Dance Battle thing, when I came across a different suprising shirt, worn by maknae Taemin in the Juliette days (and on his birthday, Jul. 18!)




He is wearing FreshJive's Regency T-shirt in Red. They sell it here for W49,000, but it's a korean site.
As for international Shipping, I'm not too sure what's going on there (since the site's in korean.)

I honestly had to post this. Jea is my fave member of Brown Eyed Girls. I love her!!! :D

Brown Eyed Girl's wore W.Dressroom leggings on an episode of Super Junior's Miracle which also featured MBLAQ. This one for sure I know is authetic. W.Dressroom as pointed out by a viewer was said to be fake and knockoffish. I think it's authentic. The designer is actually pretty great. There stuff I haven't seen on anywhere else but on kpop stars. I'll pay more attention to details. :D
